For any guests at the London Lancaster Gate Hotel who are motorsports fans, be sure you don’t miss the London Classic car show at the Excel centre. The go to place for the best in classic sports cars and showcases, the Classic Car show has a crowd pleasing runway on which the motor cars are fired up and driven, giving you the chance to see, hear and smell classics like the Ferrari and Audi from professional exhibitors and auctioneers.
The set up in ExCEL London’s premium events arena has a long runway, or the Grand Avenue, on which classic convertibles, coupe’s, hatchbacks, sports cars and even aerodynamic pioneer streamliner’s will be driven and exhibited on their very own catwalk. There is also a showcase of the Quentin Willson’s classic car smart buys of 2017, where daily seminars and exhibits will be displayed, helping you ake the right choice on car investments. On top of this there is a car club square, where affordable classics will be displayed for those looking to buy a car whilst the Supgard Theatre will be hosted by motorsport broadcaster Henry-Hope Frost, exploring a broad range of car based topics. There is also an exclusive Grand Avenue club wherte spectators can watch the Grand Avenue showcases from comfort and luxury in a Las Vegas themed lounge area.
The Gala evening will host a panel of Celebrities who are self-confessed Ferrari fanatics, talking about the history of the car brand and their experiences with it. There is also an award ceremony for six-time Le Mans winner Jacky Ickx who will be hosted with the shows very own Icon Award.
There is a parking area for ExCeL users. With a massive 3070 parking spaces available for an affordable twenty four hour tariff whilst the Royal Victoria Multi storey Car Park nearby has a height restriction of 1.9 metres. There is also a free of charge Motorcycle parking area designated within the Royal Victoria.
Many people may be travelling from overseas and can book travel from many of the London area airports including Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and City Airport.
Arriving by tube services is easy as two stations are on the ExCeL CAMPUS. The DLR stops Customs House and Prince Regent are both in close proximity to the events space.
